It's almost Halloween, which means it's time to get your costumes ready for those spooky parties and events! As a kid, I always looooooved figuring out my costume each year - although I must admit, I had a couple of pretty weird ones.. Whether you're the DIY type who makes their own costume from scraps and knickknacks, or if you like to buy something slick and ready to wear, getting in to costume is always a lot of fun. And, according to psychologists, it's good for your mental health, too! Wearing a costume lets you put on a different skin and try out new ways of interacting with the world. It builds confidence and helps you to develop your sense of self. It's great for kids and adults, too. Teacher Kelly and I have seen over and over again how a shy student suddenly becomes relaxed and light hearted with the addition of a wig, a whacky bow tie, or a pair of funny glasses.
But did you know that the type of costume you most like to get into can hint at your inner personality? Take a look at our free, fresh Halloween content below. You can use it to find your Halloween-costume personality type and to design your perfect costume, too!
